Bandari maintained their lead at the top of the FKF Premier League standings after thrashing Bidco United 3-2 in a five-goal thriller match played at Thika Stadium on Saturday.

William Wadri, Felly Mulumba and Chacha Mwita scored to hand Bandari all three points as Jacob Onyango and David Orem converted Bidco’s consolation goals.

The win saw the Dockers maintain their 100% start to the 2021-2022 season as they remain top of the table with six points and a goal difference of four goals.

Bandari have now scored six goals in two matches.

Bandari started the match on a bright note with Keegan Ndemi drawing an early foul off Bidco’s Francis Odour in the sixth minute with the resultant free-kick missing narrowly off the target.

Ten minutes later, the visitors early hard work was repaid when Felly Mulumba scored an easy tap in from a corner.

The lead lasted 10 minutes as Bidco restored parity after Jacob Onyango converted Nzuki’s free-kick.

The Dockers would restore their one-goal advantage again in the 43rd minute after William Wadri who was afforded space in the air Bidco defenders, rose higher to head in Siraj Mohammed's delivery from a free-kick.

In the final half, substitute Chacha Mwita made it 3-1 with his first touch in the 71st minute before Bidco’s David Orem made sure the match would go down to the wire with an 86th-minute goal.

Bandari would however hold on to their slender lead to win 3-2.
