Musa Masika scored a second half stunner as Wazito FC ended Nairobi City Stars' five-match winning streak in the midweek Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF-PL) match played at Ruaraka grounds in Nairobi on Wednesday.
Masika’s goal was enough to hand the 'Moneybags' all three points in their narrow 1-0 win, a victory that saw them bounce back to winning ways after losing their last match 2-1 to AFC Leopards.
Maximum points saw Wazito leapfrog Ulinzi Stars into eighth place on 30 points, pending the soldiers' clash with Tusker at ASK Showgrounds in Nakuru later in the day.
Meanwhile, City Stars remain fifth on 32 points.
In Thika, Bidco United fought from a goal down to hold Kakamega Homeboyz to a 1-1 draw in a tight match played at Thika Stadium.
