Sergio Aguero has admitted that he is still not clear what the future holds for him with his contract at Manchester City nearing its end.

The 32-year-old Argentinean forward has been at the Etihad since 2011 and has already earned legendary status at the club.

He has become City's all-time leading scorer with a sensational 256 goals and has helped them win four Premier League titles, an FA Cup and five League Cups.

However, Aguero has been a peripheral figure this season after struggling with injuries, and has managed just five Premier League appearances.

And with his current deal with City set to expire in June, this may well be Aguero's last season in Manchester, with Barcelona among the teams believed to be expressing an interest in his signature.

Aguero was asked about his plans in an interview with YouTuber Inai Llanos, and replied: "I finish my contract at the end of the season and I don't know what to do yet.

"The first thing I want to do is play, and at the end of the season we will see."

Aguero also spoke about his relationship with City boss Pep Guardiola, and explained how he has improved as a player under the Catalan.

He added: "He is very detailed. With him, he has improved football and many Premier League teams have wanted to copy his style, starting attacks from defence. He is very good!

After being absent for a number of weeks Aguero could make a return against Arsenal this weekend - although he is unlikely to start.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's clash Guardiola said: "Sergio has been injured for a year, so cannot start from the beginning but is ready to come back.

"He was on the bench for the last game and will be again. When he can return he will do."
