Tottenham are among a clutch of Premier League clubs being offered the chance to sign former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.

The Welshman, 29, only signed for Juventus last summer after running down his deal at the Emirates.

But the Italian giants, like many other clubs, are being forced to tighten their belt in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and they have let it be known that they are willing to sell the £400,000-a-week star this summer.

A move to Spurs would go down like a lead balloon in the red half of north London after he spent 11 years with the Gunners.

And his salary demands could prove problematic for Tottenham, whose own finances have been significantly impacted by football’s enforced lockdown.

But that hasn’t stopped intermediaries working on behalf of Juve asking Arsenal’s great rivals if they would be interested in taking the player.

Manchester UnitedManchester City and Bayern Munich have also been sounded out.

The three-time FA Cup winner was an integral part of Arsenal's squad prior to his departure

But the north Londoners chose not to offer Ramsey a new deal in his final season which led him to bid an emotional farewell to the Emirates faithful.

However he has struggled to make a similar impact in Serie A with his opportunities limited, which is partly down to injury problems.

The Welshman has made 24 appearances in all competitions under Maurizio Sarri scoring on four occasions.
