7 Days to GO! Good news for Harambee Stars in latest FIFA rankings

Kenya has moved up in latest FIFA rankings ahead of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

This is after the national team Harambee Stars benefited from a fine run towards the Afcon finals, climbing three places in the latest rankings by the World football governing body FIFA released on Friday.

The country’s football team currently occupies position 105 after earning 1207 points.

African powerhouse Senegal lead the continent after they ranked 22nd worldwide with 1515 points.

In the Cecafa region, neighbours and bitter rivals Uganda lead the way as they rank number 80 worldwide with 1299 points followed closely by Kenya.

2010 World Cup winners Germany come in distant 11th after a significant decline since their 2010 masterclass.
