Arsenal fans are already looking ahead to next season after an apparent leak of their new home kit appeared online.

The Gunners have agreed on a new blockbuster deal with Adidas, worth £300m.

Their current agreement with Puma will come to an end at the conclusion of the Premier League season before the switch.

The five-year deal is worth around £60m-per-season to Arsenal, who were sponsored by Adidas in the early 90s.

And supporters are unsurprisingly loving the 'throwback' after the rumoured strip appeared on social media on Friday.

The classy red and white strip has plenty of similarities worn during the early days of the Premier League with a white round-neck collar.

The sleeves are in red and white and complete with the Fly Emirates sponsor.

There are no indications if this is actually Arsenal's new kit but it hasn't stopped fans getting excited.

Arsenal will hope to be wearing their new strip in next season's Champions League as they bid to make the top four.

The Gunners' victory over Manchester United last weekend took them back into fourth, although they are not in action again before the international break.

They will also face Napoli in the quarter-finals of the Europa League following the draw in Nyon on Friday.

Winning that competition will secure a spot in next season's Champions League with Unai Emery likely to face a dilemma over which competition to prioritise in the coming months.

The Gunners saw off Rennes on Thursday night to go through as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice at the Emirates.
