Birmingham City have completed an impressive double swoop by signing Arsenal duo Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall on loan. According to the Sun.

The Gunners pair have joined Harry Redknapp’s Championship side until the end of the season.

Brum and Arsene Wenger‘s men are expected to formally announce the deal on Monday.

England international Jenkinson, 25, was signed by the North London giants from Charlton Athletic back in 2011.

A year later he was handed his international debut by then Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson against Sweden.

However, since his impressive start to life at the Emirates he has endured a miserable time and found himself surplus to requirements.

Jenkinson was shipped out on loan to West Ham for the 2014/15 campaign and look to be rebuilding his career with a number of impressive displays.

The following summer the Hammers returned to take him back on another season-long loan but it was cut short in January 2016 when he suffered a knee injury.

Jenkinson returned to Arsenal for rehabilitation but did not play again that season and found himself out of favour during the last campaign.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Bramall only signed for Arsenal in a dream move from non-league Hednesford in January.

Upon signing, Wenger described him as “a young, promising left back who has a lack of experience at the top level but who has fantastic ingredients.
