Yaya Toure blasted over half-time shirt swap

Harry Redknapp has hit out at Yaya Toure after the Manchester City midfielder swapped shirts with Paulo Dybala at half time on Wednesday night.

Manuel Pellegrini's men were trailing 1-0 at the break when Toure took his shirt off as he headed towards the tunnel and handed it to the Argentine star.

It was not clear who had instigated the swap, but BT Sport pundit Redknapp was distinctly unimpressed.

He asked: "Can you imagine Vinnie Jones at Wimbledon swapping shirts?

"I don't like it, personally, at half-time. At the end of the game, fine."

City surrendered top spot in their group after failing to recover from Mario Mandzukic's early goal.

They must now hope Juventus lose their final match while winning their own if they want to ensure an easier opponent in the next round.
