Arsenal midfielder Flamini looks to be close to the Emirates exit door

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini is in the sights of Galatasaray.

The Turkish champions are confident of completing a deal this week to take the 31-year-old Frenchman to Istanbul.

Flamini returned to Arsenal from AC Milan two years ago, He has struggled, however, for game time with just 15 Premier League appearances last season.

He has just a year left on his contract and the Gunners are understood to be ready to cash in this summer.

In terms of incomings Arsenal have been warned off Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Dortmund insisting the striker is not for sale.
