Let's make an egg and soft lettuce salad. It's delicious and easy to make at home. It can be served as a meal on its own with some extra hot sauce if you like it spicy.

What you will need:

1 packet mixed soft lettuce

5 boiled eggs

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 onion diced

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon hot sauce

1/4 cup olive oil

4 tablespoons brown vinegar

2 tomatoes sliced

What to do:

Wash and arrange the soft lettuce in a large bowl and set aside.

Let's make some vinaigrette: In a separate medium bowl, add the diced onions., salt, honey, hot sauce, olive oil and brown sugar. Give it a good mix then drizzle a quarter of this mixture on the soft lettuce.

Using a knife, chop three hard-boiled eggs. Sprinkle some black pepper on the eggs.

Put the chopped eggs in the bowl of lettuce. Arrange tomato slices over the chopped eggs.

Pour the remaining vinaigrette over the eggs, tomatoes and lettuce.

Cut the two remaining eggs into wedges and place them over the tomatoes as a garnish.

Finish off the salad with some extra hot sauce and enjoy.
