Kenyan-born Messry Lung'atso is the winner of this year's Beauty of Africa International Pageant. Ghana's Prisca Abah and Miss Nigeria, Okereke Juliana, took second and third places respectively.

The grand finale saw the top 12 contenders battle it out.

The annual Pageant, now in its third edition, was held yesterday at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria.

It was hosted by veteran comedian Gordons and Miss International Nigeria 2019 Alice Duke.

Messry Lung'atso flanked by Ghana's Prisca Abah (R) and Miss Nigeria, Okereke Juliana (L).

Messry, born and raised in Mumias, is the firstborn in a family of three.

She is a final year student at the University of Nairobi pursuing Economics.

The beauty looked regal in her floor-length blue gown, which she completed off with a pair of white dangling earrings with her hair swept back into a ponytail.

Besides modeling, Messry enjoys writing and sharing stories.

On weekends, she engages in different activities, including holding small classes with children from her neighborhood. They engage in different activities like making bead bands and paintings as well as planting trees.
