The action for Smirnoff Battle of the Beats Season Three is on with DJs from different regions across Kenya showcasing their talents. Rift Valley was the latest focus, and now the action moves to the coast.

Following the resounding triumph of the two previous seasons and the unearthing of exceptional talent, Season Three of the Smirnoff Battle of the Beats is in high spirits.

For the last couple of months, consumers have been treated to a competition of unparalleled magnitude and grandeur.

From the mystic mountains to the serene lakes, the vibrant Coast, bustling Nairobi, and the enigmatic Rift, DJs from every corner of the country will vie for the illustrious title of the undisputed champion.

And last week, in an exciting showdown of musical prowess, KeyJayTheDeejay, emerged as the Rift Region winner.

She battled it out against 16 other talented contestants, showcasing exceptional skills and electrifying performances to claim the coveted title.

Geejoe The Deejay and DJ Blackspin secured the second and third positions respectively, in the fiercely contested competition.

The Smirnoff Battle of the Beats DJ competition stands as a groundbreaking initiative designed by East African Breweries Limited (EABL) to unearth the country's top-tier DJs.

Serving as a pivotal platform for nurturing emerging talent within the DJ community, this competition symbolises EABL's commitment to promoting creativity and innovation in Kenya's vibrant music scene.

Speaking during the launch, East Africa Breweries Marketing and Innovation Director Anne Joy Michira said the revival of SBOB perfectly aligns with Smirnoff's unwavering commitment to be the audacious spark that ignites the collective in line with their new campaign 'We do We.'

"In a world where we're constantly told to focus on ourselves, it's becoming more apparent that we're all yearning to be part of something bigger. At a time when the expression of 'you do you' has lost some of its shine and inclusivity is being challenged around the world, 'WE DO WE' is our rallying cry to embrace the power of the collective," said Anne Joy during the launch.

"The Smirnoff Battle of the Beats DJ competition is a celebration of talent and creativity, embodying EABL's commitment to supporting the vibrant music culture in Kenya. We are thrilled to witness the exceptional performances and look forward to DJ XXX representing the Rift region in the ultimate finals," said Smirnoff Shopper Manager, Jonathan Ruto.

The competition now moves to the Coast region, with the first round of auditions scheduled for early June. Already crowned are DJ Insta and DJ Kryptic from the Mountain and Lake regions respectively.

The final round will be Nairobi region, after which all five winners will battle it out for the ultimate bragging rights to take place later this year

To participate, DJs are urged to upload their thrilling 2-5-minute performance on Instagram or Facebook, tagging @smirnoffke and using the hashtags #WeDoWe where the competition's judges will then select the top 20 who will proceed to battle it out live on TV.

Through interactive elements, immersive lighting displays, and a palpable energy that permeates the entire event, Smirnoff's Battle of the Beats has given the deejay experience a new level of pure, unadulterated excitement.

Attendees leave these events not just entertained, but inspired, with a newfound appreciation for the art of deejaying and the transformative power of music.

And the competition continues to grow in popularity and influence. It is a testament to the power of innovation, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence - qualities that are sure to inspire the next generation of Kenyan DJs to reach for the stars.
