Eight-time Grammy Award-winning music icon, Ms. Lauryn Hill, will headline the second day of a two-day music event in Nairobi, alongside Kenya's hip-hop sensation Nyashinski.

This will be Ms. Hill's first major performance in Kenya since 2019 when she headlined a concert as part of her world tour promoting The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

For the first time since its inception in 2022, the event will extend over two days, featuring a stellar lineup of live performances from both local and international artists, along with art exhibitions, fashion displays, and other cultural experiences.

Ms. Lauryn Hill is celebrated for her pivotal role as a member of The Fugees and her influential contributions to hip-hop, R&B, and soul.

The Score, the 1996 album by The Fugees, redefined hip-hop, while Hill's solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, cemented her as one of the most influential and enduring artists of her generation.

Hill, an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, rose to fame in the 1990s with The Fugees before launching a critically acclaimed solo career.

Day One of the concert, to be held at Laureate Gardens, Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, on September 28th and 29th will feature Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema, Kenya's Bien, and rising British talent Adree.

Rema's chart-topping hits like "Calm Down" and "Dumebi" are expected to bring global Afrobeats energy to Nairobi.

The concert will offer attendees a diverse cultural experience through live music, art, and fashion exhibitions, creating a memorable weekend for both local and international fans.

Since its debut, the event has become a staple in Nairobi's music calendar, drawing thousands of attendees and featuring top artists from across Africa and beyond.

Previous headliners have included Tiwa Savage, Fally Ipupa, and TxC, with the event gaining a reputation for its dynamic performances and vibrant cultural experiences.
