Zabron singer Marco Joseph is dead

Marco Joseph, a member of the Zabron Singers, has passed away. He died while receiving treatment for a heart condition in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Obeid Kazimili, the group's chairperson, announced the news on Facebook. He stated that more details about Marco's funeral will be shared soon.

Kazimili's post read: "We are saddened to announce the death of our colleague Marco Joseph Bukulu, the vice chairman and assistant body of Zabron Singers. He passed away tonight at Jakaya Hospital in Dar es Salaam. Further information about the funeral will be provided later. May the Lord bless you."

Marco leaves behind his fellow group members: Victoria Zabron, Jamila Dotto, Samuel Joseph, Semroza Godfrey, Mark Bukuru, Grace Madata, and Joyce Zabron.

The group is known for hits like "Mkono wa Bwana," "Sweetie Sweetie," "Nakutuma Wimbo," "Imenigharimu," "Nawapenda," "Nitaweza," "Sikiachi Tena," and "Sio Bure." Other popular songs include "Hujanitenga," "Lushiku," "Nitasubiri," and "Mpiga Kinanda."

Fans have since taken to social media to express their condolences:

Lydia Mettoh: "What!! May God console the Zabron Singers team. It pains our hearts, but it is God's will."

Emmanuel Mamboleo: "I am very sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort you during this time of mourning."

Drusilla Njena: "This is so heartbreaking ?. I'm so sorry. May God give you strength and may he rest in peace."

Syl Blessed: "We will remember your singing as a servant of God."

Alex Thulani: "What! My deepest condolences to the entire family. My heart is broken; he was one of my favourites. May God comfort us in this difficult time."
