American model and Hollywood star Nicole Murphy has been in Kenya for a few days, and she's already making significant strides, with a potential partnership with the government in the works.

Nicole, who arrived over the weekend, has already met with the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, Rebecca Miano, who praised the timing of her visit and highlighted Kenya's growing status as a tourist destination.

"It's great to welcome one of Hollywood's finest! Nicole Murphy's choice of Kenya underscores our country's increasing prominence as a global tourist destination. This affirmation of culture embracing nature inspires our journey towards expanding our tourist base through new partnerships and underutilized frontiers, including entertainment. Tapping into local and global talents will help grow our tourism sector," stated Miano during Nicole's visit to her office.

According to Kenya Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer June Chepkemei, the government will host and collaborate with Nicole and her team on a familiarization trip to explore Kenya's diverse tourism offerings.

"This partnership presents an incredible opportunity to connect with Hollywood celebrities and affluent African Americans. Additionally, Nicole has graciously agreed to a content partnership with KTB, permitting us to utilize her content for destination endorsements," stated Chepkemei.

Nicole first hinted at visiting the country in July when she posted about her upcoming trip, which was being organized by Kenyan singer Lovince Mckenzie, currently based in Hollywood. The singer has hinted at working on a collaboration with Bien Aime.

"I happened to be walking around my neighbourhood, and the Kenya Embassy is nearby. I ended up standing in front of it and thought, 'This is the place I want to go.' I happen to know Lovince, who is an amazing afrobeat artist, and he made it happen," Nicole told the press upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, accompanied by Lovince and two other friends.

Nicole is the ex-wife of Oscar-nominated 'Coming to America' actor Eddie Murphy, with whom she shares five children.
