The Miss Universe Kenya 2024 winner will take home the highest cash prize ever awarded to a pageant holder in Kenya, receiving a whopping Sh1 million.

Additionally, she will be provided with a furnished apartment, a fully functional office, and a team to support her charitable cause. She will also enjoy makeup services from AllBlack Beauty.

During the recently concluded Miss World Kenya finals, the winner and reigning queen, Grace Ramtu, received a cash prize of Sh250,000. She also received support for fully furnished, comfortable, and secure accommodation throughout her reign.

The stakes appear to be rising, as the rewards are becoming more attractive in an industry that previously received little support.

Unlike before, partners and sponsors lined up to support the Top 20 finalists in the Miss Universe Kenya campaign, offering both monetary and technical support. This goodwill has been lacking in an industry worth millions of dollars and now looking to expand.

The contestants vying for the Miss Universe Kenya crown are Annabelle Reeno, Aiyan Abdi, Brenis Wanyonyi, Brenda Njoki, Britney Kimani, Esther Achieng', Fridah Kariuki, Grace Maghanga, Irene Ng'endo, Mokeira Onchiri, and Karren Kiprotich. Mercy Jerotich, Nichole Israel, Pauline Gichohi, Stacy Sang', Tabitha Ashley, Susan Wahu, Magdalene Takangiro, Vivian Olago, and Vennessa Sunday complete the list, with the eventual winner to be announced on August 16, 2024.

The pageant is supported by the Ababu Namwamba Foundation, Mozzart, Talanta Hela, Bonfire Adventures, Sarova Hotels, and Narok County, among others.

An entire team of professionals is providing the contestants with runway training, interviews, and etiquette training.

Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant organised by the Thailand and Mexico-based Miss Universe Organization.

Along with Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth, it is one of the Big Four beauty pageants. The pageant celebrates all cultures, backgrounds, and religions.

The finals of the 73rd Miss Universe will be held in Mexico in November.
