HArt The Band's Mordecai Dex joins Sol Generation Publishing

Kenyan artist Mordecai 'DEX' Mwini, renowned for his role in the Afropop group H_Art The Band, has signed a three-year deal with Sol Generation Publishing.

The news was confirmed on Sol Generation Publishing's Instagram page, where they expressed enthusiasm about their new partnership.

"Welcome to the family @mordecai_dex ????. We are beyond excited to begin this new journey with you. Cheers!"

Dex's artistic journey began in Nairobi, where he cultivated his talent as a poet, painter, fashion enthusiast, and guitarist before becoming a music producer.

As a founding member of H_Art The Band, Dex has played a pivotal role in shaping the band and contributing to it's success.

Sol Generation Publishing shared details of Dex's extensive career, noting his contributions across various platforms.

"Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of genres while staying true to his rich heritage, Dex has honed his craft over the years creating a unique sound that transcends boarders," Sol Generation noted.

They also highlighted his coaching roles at Sauti Academy, Safaricom Twaweza Live, Tusker NEXT ERS, and his collaborations with Kenyan artists like Nyashinski, Naiboi, and Bensoul.

The announcement of Dex's new deal with Sol Generation has sparked curiosity among fans about the future of H_Art The Band.

However, the band has indicated their continued activity with an upcoming tour in Australia scheduled for July, marking their first performance in the country, as announced on their Instagram page.

"AUSTRALIA HERE WE COME! So excited for this trip to one of the places we have always wanted to visit & perform. This july, we shall be touring Aussie for the first time ever!" H_Art The Band wrote.
