'August Town' star Duane Stephenson for Club Asylum's Reggae Monday

Monday reggae at Club Asylum, Baricho road continues to bag in the who’s who of Jamaican reggae. Barely had we seen the likes of Romain Virgo and Lutan Fayah last year, than they spring another surprise – Duane Stephenson a roots reggae maestro.

Duane, popular for his hit single “August Town” will be at Asylum this evening to launch his new song “Sarah”. The dancing Dj – Muzikal Sheriff (Rastyle) also celebrates his birthday at the same venue tonight in an all-white gig dubbed “The Pisces Affair’’.

The guest list includes the likes of Wyre, Talia Oyando, Mike Jones and a host of reggae houses from Dohty family, Maytal Sounds, Moh Sounds. Gravitti band will open proceedings from 7pm.

It’s the Sheriff of Nairobi and the Sheriff of August town – electric!
