The Airtel Trace winner Webi will be launching his third album next Friday.
The album is titled ‘Lukundo’. ‘Lukundo’ is a word in the Taita dialect, a befitting one describing what this 13 track album talks about – Love. The message in this album is simplified into an everyday perspective that immediately connects with the listener.
The album has songs like Pamoja Milele and Nikuskize which have continued to receive vast airplay. Webi has featured two Kenya’s top female artists in this album, who will be unveiled on the day.
The launch will be happening at The Elephant 3 Kanjata Road, Lavington on Friday 29th April 2016 from 7 p.m. It will be hosted by the spoken word guru Elsaphan Njora.
