A terrified man jumped from his second-floor balcony after a woman he refused to have sex with opened fire on him.

Anneisha Speed, 19, allegedly pulled a gun on the man in his flat and fired a round of shots into a wall after he refused to romp with her.

The pair had spent most of the day together, police said.

The unnamed man said Speed asked him to perform oral sex on her moments after they arrived in his flat.

But when he declined his date pulled out a .40 handgun and aimed it at him, he told investigators in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA.

He fled to his balcony before leaping to the ground as another shot was fired in his direction, police files said.

Officers found Speed outside the flat after the man called them.

She reportedly resisted attempts to handcuff her before she was overpowered on the ground and taken into custody.

Two live .40 rounds and a spent shell casing were found in the man’s home.

Officers also discovered Speed had allegedly stolen a shotgun and a Playstation game console from the flat.

She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of attempted murder and illegal discharge of a firearm.

She is also accused of stealing a firearm, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence.

The man, whose age has not been revealed, is not believed to have been seriously hurt in his balcony leap.

In March, in the the neighbouring state of Texas, a nursery school teacher was arrested after she tried to stab her boyfriend for refusing sex.
