The 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) has officially begun across the country.
Although the practical examinations of technical and optional subjects began last Tuesday, written examinations for compulsory subjects have begun this morning. This morning, Education CS Prof George Magoha, oversaw the opening and distribution of examinations in Mombasa County.
The CS also made rounds at Shimo la Tewa High School.

About 831,026 candidates across the country will sit for KCSE 2021.

In 2020, some 752, 602 registered for the final secondary school exams.
The exams will run from February 28, 2022, to April 1, 2022.
