Jaffery Sports Club continued with their good run after they defeated Burhani Sports Club by 24 runs in one of the four matches of NIC Bank T20 cricket Challenge matches at the weekend.

Playing at Mombasa Sports Club, Jaffery won the toss and elected to bat as they hit a score of 173 with Qamar Abbas emerging as top scorer with 66 runs, while Zahad Abbas contributed 23 runs for the winners.

Burhani’s bowlers Mustafa Chandabhai and Prashani Srinnas hit 3/41 and 2/33 respectively. It was an awesome victory for Jaffery Sports Club led by Kenyan wicket keeper Irfan Karim.
