Cricket Kenya (CK) has punished captain Collins Obuya and Irfan Karim following an altercation between the two players during a recent national team tour of Sri Lanka. The CK disciplinary committee decided both Obuya and Karim should be banned for two and one matches respectively, which takes effect immediately. A brief statement from CK yesterday stated that Obuya and Karim will also forfeit their match fees for the day the altercation took place. The CK has strongly warned the cricketers that any future misbehaviour will led to stiffer action being taken against them.
