Astral Aviation put up a superb display to demolish Apec Consortium 8-4 in their third match of the Left Foot Sports Corporate League at Sikh Union Club Astro Turf on Forest Road.

Aviation, who kicked off the season with a 2-0 defeat against Nation Media, and then suffered a 3-0 defeat against NFT AutoPort FC, were the better side in the contest as they raced into a 3-0 lead at the half-time break courtesy of a hat-trick from Joel Mureithi.

In the second half, striker Samuel Baratha made it 4-0 as Aviation took control of the game but Apec were not letting it go as they scored two quick goals courtesy of Griffin Munasia and Herman Allisa.

At 4-2, Apec knew they could catch up and they added the third when Lucky Asila drilled home from outside the box.

However, Aviation sensed danger and they added the fifth when Baratha riffled home with a right-footed effort and it was Baratha, who sealed another hat-trick in the game with a fine finish to make it 7-3.

Ben Wafula then scored yet again for Apec but before they could celebrate, Philip Omondi found the back of the net to make it 8-4 and seal an emphatic victory for Aviation.

In other Corporate League matches played at the same venue, NFT AutoSport made it two wins out of two after defeating Nation Media 4-2, Taliban FC continued with their fine start after demolishing Saad Advocates 6-3 while Salim Omar Advocates came from two goals down to defeat Jamhuri Bulls FC 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller.
