The 2022 Ballon d'Or runners-up is one of the African football stars who are known for their charitable acts off the pitch.

The 30-year-old striker has once again continued to be a role model and an inspiration to others around him with his latest gesture on Tuesday where he was reported to have given away over 100 Bayern Munich jerseys to children of Bambali - his native village where he grew up.

Mane's act of kindness has already earned him lots of praise on social media with a video of the Bayern star (personally signing the shirts before it was being sent for delivery) having gone viral.

Two weeks ago during the Ballon d'Or ceremony, Mane also received France Football's inaugural Socrates Award, in recognition of his charity work in his native Senegal.

The Bayern Munich forward has built a public hospital and funded schools and families in his home village of Bambali in recent years, and also donated to the Senegalese National Committee to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nations title, and has since produced nine goals and an assist in 16 competitive appearances for Bayern.

Mane signed for the Bundesliga champions after a successful seven-year spell at Liverpool.
