Newly elected Nzoia Sugar chair vows to help the club get off the danger zone

The newly elected Nzoia Sugar chairperson Evans Kadenge has vowed to help the club get off the relegation zone in the Kenya Premier League (KPL).
Kadenge, son of the late football legend Joe Kadenge took over the leadership of the club after Yappets Mokua was axed.
The 42-year-old who previously served the club as team manager said he is well informed of the club’s culture and is ready to make Nzoia FC great in the top flight.
Kadenge, who witnessed his team throw away 2-0 lead against Kakamega Homeboyz to lose 3-2, said his focus is to help the team come get off the foot of the table.
"We must work towards evading relegation, considering that only Nzoia FC and Kakamega Homeboyz who are featuring in the top tier league from western part of Kenya,” said Kadenge.

He also urged the Nzoia FC fans to be patient and embrace new changes at the club.
“We also want to urge our fans to remain patient and support the team at this moment when we are in transition."
Kadenge won the club chairperson elections after gathering 155 votes out of the 210 casted votes while Godfrey Wanyonyi came second with 45 votes with the axed chairperson Yappets Mokua getting just 10 votes.
Nzoia FC are currently placed 15th on the KPL table with 12 points, just 3 points above 16th placed Kisumu All-stars.
Nzoia, under tactician Benard Mwalala, face a tough test in their next match against fifth-placed KCB at the Sudi Stadium, in Bungoma. ?
