President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday appointed Athletics Kenya President Jackson Tuwei as the Sports, Art and Social Development Fund board Chairman. In an earlier Gazette notice dated November 28, Treasury CS Henry Rotich said the board will be made up of five Principal Secretaries from the ministries of Education, Arts, Health, National Treasury and Sports.

The former Vice President Moody Awori is also a board member. Meanwhile, Eldoret is set to welcome another great sporting event since Olympics athletics trials three years ago when national cross country goes to Uasin Gishu County.
