Manchester United send left-back star on loan

Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has been allowed to go out on loan in search of first team football and experience.

The English defender who came to limelight under Louis van Gaal era at Old Trafford three years ago has signed for Scunthorpe United for a season loan.

The loan deal is, however, subject to Premier League clearance and league approval.

The 21-year-old join goalkeeper Dean Henderson and midfielder Matty Willock in the club’s loan brigade list for the 2018/19 season. Dean Henderson has been sent Sheffield United while Willock joined St Mirren.

Manchester United will kick off their 2018/19 season with a clash against Leicester City at Old Trafford on Friday 10 August.
