Sadio Mane has issued an apology to Ederson after kicking Manchester City keeper in the face.
Liverpool winger Mane saw red after clashing with the Brazilian shot stopper while chasing a through ball during the sides' clash at the Etihad on Saturday.
City went on to win the fixture 5-0 - with Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane bagging braces after Sergio Aguero had put Pep Guardiola's side ahead.
Ederson was taken off on a stretcher in the 37th minute before having scans on his jaw and cheekbone following the sickening collision.
The summer recruit from Porto was later released after he was given the all-clear by doctors.

And Mane took to Instagram to write: "I hope and wish Ederson a quick recovery.
"I am so sorry he was hurt during our accidental collision on the pitch and am sorry for him that he could not complete the match because of it.
"I pray he heals fast and is back playing very soon because he is highest quality player."
