2016 Rio Olympics Rugby Women 7s: Lionesses maul Colombia 22:10

Kenyan Women Rugby team won their first match at the Rio Games by beating Columbia 22:10.
The Lionesses saved their best for last with a historical comeback in second half. Columbia were first to cross the try line in the first half thanks to a solo effort by Sharon Acevedo.
Two minutes later Navalayo Masinde responded to level the score at 5:5 but Katherinne Medina quickly responded for the South Americans leaving the score line at 10:5 at half time.
In the second half, tries from, Janet Musindalo Okelo and Irene Awino Otieno put Kenya back in control of the game. Okelo would then score her second try after the hooter in an emotional moment that saw the whole team run towards her in celebration. The only conversion of the match was made by Awuor Awino.
