Gor Mahia FC’s chairman, Ambrose Dickson Otieno Rachier will run for President in the fourthcoming football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections.

Rachier, one of the longest serving Gor chairmen has decided to join the already crowded race after ‘extensive consultations and deliberations with key stakeholders whose sole intention is to put the interest of Kenya first.’

“It is time to restore Kenya’s lost glory in football that is why I am running,”

Rachier told Standard Digital.

An outstanding advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Founder of Rachier & Amollo Advocates, Rachier’s involvement in football matters has seen him change the tides of Kenyan Premier League champions Gor.

The official launch of his candidature will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Nyayo National Stadium.
