ELDORET: County government to complete stadium

Football and athletics fans in Uasin Gishu will get something to be proud of after the county government agreed to complete the remaining parts of the Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret that has stalled for decades. Uasin Gishu County government has taken over the renovation of the stadium to enable them host the Kenya Communication Sports Organisation (Kecoso) scheduled to start on August 9. The renovation is said to have stalled from 2012 due to lack of funds.
