The Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) has unveiled the Green Park Bus Terminus, with the first day of use being Tuesday, May 24.

Public Services Vehicles (PSVs) plying Ngong and Argwings Kodhek roads will pick and drop passengers at the terminus on May 24, the first phase of roll-out.

Matatus plying Lang’ata Road-Nairobi central business district route will start using the facility on Friday, May 27, the NMS said on their official Twitter page on Tuesday, May 17.

The bus terminus was set up at a cost of Sh250 million to help decongest and bring order in the town centre.

Its construction began in November 2020.

Initially, the NMS had projected that the facility would be opened by March 2022, but later revised the timeline due to then-construction of the Nairobi Expressway.
