Not many British fans will have heard of Colombian journalist Alejandra Omana Ruiz before today, but that could all be about to change.

The writer promised to pose naked for her magazine, Soho, if her team Deportivo Cucuta got promoted to the top division in Colombia.

Despite being only the third-ranked team in a group of four, which included the league’s top side, and only the winner going up, Ms Omana Ruiz’s team duly delivered against the odds in January.

And true to her word, she posed naked for Soho this week while proudly sporting the shirt of Cucuta.
