There is a common adage that says, opportunity never knocks on the same door twice, but Bob's story rips out every bit of this common saying.

Imagine winning a multi-million bet, now imagine winning six multi-million bets in a single day, yes, as crazy as it sounds, that is the story of Bob, a banker, who walked away with a total of Sh109,277,917 on Tuesday September 10, from six separate bet slips.

Five of the six bets were an exact replica in terms of the teams placed that drew Sh20,000,000, the maximum payout for a single bet slip while the final bet slip racked in Sh9,227,000.

Historic Win Shatters Records at Mozzart Bet

This remarkable feat puts him at the summit of the Mozzart Bet leaderboard as the gamer who has won the highest amount of money from the betting site and eclipses his closest challenger who bagged Sh20,000,000.

This could only be possible at Kenya's leading gaming firm Mozzart Bet who have no cap on the amount one can win in a day and have one of the highest maximum payout for a single bet slip that stands at Sh20,000,000.

Bob could not contain his elation after winning the six bets from his last coin of spare cash that made him the newest multi-millionaire in town.

From Spare Change to Millions: Bob's Betting Strategy

"I placed six bets, five had the maximum payout for Sh20 million and one for Sh9.2 million. Most of the bet slips had similar teams. I was very broke and had only Sh200 to bet with, so I decided to place a multi-bet, but as I placed the bet, I realised that I had overestimated the odds and decided to place several bets each with a stake of Sh37. I haven't slept since yesterday, I tried to sleep but I couldn't until it got to morning then I decided to come to your (Mozzart Bet) offices," he said.

Having won five bets with all similar teams, the father of three revealed that it was his current financial situation that played a huge part in him winning the insane amount of money.

"I wasn't too sure when placing the bet, when you look at my betting history, I normally place my bets with Sh100 but on this day since I was broke, I decided to split my bets. My friend also sent me Sh500 and placed another bet with Sh200 which brought in Sh9.2 million," he said.

He added: "I actually thought I had lost that bet because of Nigeria drawing but after the game, I saw the bet was still active and on checking I had not placed a bet on the Nigeria game. I don't know what share I will give my brother, but I will take them out of poverty."

The ride to Sh109 million was however not all plain sailing as he had placed both teams to score in the Harambee Stars vs Namibia game which saw the latter score in the 94th minute, virtually the last kick of the game.

"I had bet both teams to score in the Harambee Stars match and as I was watching the match and in the 94th minute I had already lost hope. Then as I was looking at the live score app I saw Namibia's side blinking red and when the goal was confirmed I ran all over the office because I usually work at night and that is when I knew I was closer to the money," said the banker.
