Kenya's Albert Kimario is the new World Alliance Boxing Association (WABA) Intercontinental Super Bantamweight title holder.

He won the belt after an intense ten round bout against resilient Grey Chimkwapulo of Malawi at Broadwalk Mall in Parklands, Nairobi on Friday night.

In addition, the winner of the crunch tie was awarded the Pugilist Syndicate of Tanzania (PST) belt.

"It was a good fight, the sport won tonight, I just want a rematch with Kimario, he was a worthy opponent, I want to challenge him again," Chimkwapulo told Standard Sport.

On the other hand, Kimario said he doesn't want a rematch with the Malawian adding that he is now focused to play other better fighters.

"I thank sponsors Betika and Ultra Fight Series Boxing for supporting me to challenge the belts at home.

"Of course not forgetting my fans who pushed me beyond my limit to achieve the victories," Kimario stated.
