Kenyan boxer Raymond ‘King Kong’ Ochieng knocks out American heavyweight champion David ‘Nino’ Rodriguez

Kenya’s heavyweight Raymond ‘King Kong’ Ochieng made history on Friday night when he knocked down America’s and world champion David ‘Nino’ Rodriguez at the Southwest University Events Center in El Paso, Texas.

Ochieng used a thunderous left hook to finish off stunned hometown favourite Rodriguez in the contest for World Boxing Commission Latino heavyweight title.
Ochieng’ took only one minute and 20 seconds to finish off Rodriguez who has numerous world titles under his belt. “A stunned Rodriguez could never recover from the hard charging Ochieng. He went down once more, though it was ruled a slip, as Ochieng was almost falling over himself to close in for the finish.
