Basketball.: Red-hot Lady Bucks face Equity Hawks test in Kisumu

Lady Bucks will be seeking to register their third win in a row when they host title contenders Equity Bank Hawks in a crucial Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) women's Premier League match at Magadi Primary in Manyatta, Kisumu on Saturday.

The Dave Michael-coached side is currently eighth in the standings with 15 points, two away from the danger zone, and will be hoping for their back-to-back wins against Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Lynx and ANU Panthers.

Former champions Equity Hawks on the other hand are third on the log with 20 points after seeing off Kenyatta University Oryx who lost 57-33.

In Nairobi, wounded JKUAT Lynx will face off against Strathmore Swords as Zetech Sparks play KU Oryx. Eldonet will play Storms in Eldoret.

In the men's Premier League, Ulinzi Warriors will play Eldonets Platinum at the Uasin Gishu grounds in Eldoret.

Ulinzi are the overwhelming favorites to win, going into the clash with a 9-2 league record while Eldonets have managed just three wins in ten matches.

At Nyayo Gymnasium, KU Pirates will be playing Africa Nazarene University (ANU) Wolfpacks as Zetech Titans face Blades.

Equity Dumas will on the other hand play Lakeside in Kisumu.
