Lady Bucks struggled to find their footing over the weekend in the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Women's Premier League matches after failing to win at home in Kisumu.

On Saturday, Lady Bucks lost to visiting Eagle Wings 41-27 at Magadi Primary School in Manyatta before going down 61-51 to Storms on Sunday at the same grounds.

The Dave Michael-coached side remains second to bottom on the table standings with seven points from only one win and five losses.

Storms on the other hand moved from fourth to second on the log with 14 points after leapfrogging both former champions Equity Hawks and Zetech Sparks to stay within four points of defending champions Kenya Ports Authority(KPA), who are not in action.

Storms glided to a dominant 66-39 victory over hosts Eldonets in Eldoret on Saturday before seeing off Lady Bucks in the Lake City the following day.

Hawks and Sparks were not in action over the weekend are expected to react when they play this coming weekend.

Kenya Ports Authority who are representing Kenya in the Fiba-Africa Zone Five club qualifiers in Tanzania head the women's Premier League table standings with 19 points.

KPA is the only unbeaten club in the 12-team competition after winning all their nine first-leg outings.

Kenyatta University Oryx are bottom after losing 42-33 against JKUAT Lynx.

They have five points from one win and three losses.
