Mwamba will be seeking to register their second win of the 2021-2022 Kenya Cup season when they host Top Fry Nakuru in an early kickoff at RFUEA Grounds.

Mwamba heads into this game on a high, having claimed their first win of the season last weekend when they defeat Blak Blad 28-10 in Ruaraka and will be out to replicate that performance when they play a Nakuru side that lost 33-15 last weekend to Homeboyz.

Nakuru, champions in 2013 and 2014 currently sit in 11th place, having amassed two points after drawing one and losing four of their five outings to date.

Meanwhile, Mwamba has named Kenya Sevens legend Collins Injera in the match day squad.

Injera will partner with Joel Inzuga in the midfield as Brian Kivasia Ronnie, Omondi and Elvis Namusasi handle the wing, open side and fullback departments respectively.

Last week’s hero Charles Kuka and Charles Chege stay at fly-half and scrum-half respectively with Tony Owuor, Mike Okello and Alex Arturo commanding the back row.

George Omolla and Chris Asira will do duties as locks with Paul Opiyo and Salaton Muturi commanding the front row.

Nakuru are still winless as the 2021-2022 season starts to gather momentum.
