The MLS Players Union has revealed the salary details of every player in the league.

A number of high profile stars made the move across the Atlantic this summer, including Didier Drogba and Andrea Pirlo. But neither feature among its highest paid stars.

Pirlo picks up a (relatively) modest yearly salary of $2million (£1.3m) while Chelsea legend Drogba, who plays for Montreal Impact, takes home $1.6m (£1.04m) a year.

But not all foreign exports are on such generous wages. Former Chelsea and Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips is paid 'just' $116,000-a-year, which works out at about £75,000.

His brother Bradley, who also plays for New York Red Bulls, earns $600,000 (£390,000)
