Nairobi,Kenya:Sunday’s KPL match between Gor Mahia and Sony Sugar will be played at Awendo Green Stadium.

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Chief Executive Jack Oguda said the Awendo Stadium has been declared fit to host the match, which is considered high risk. “Sony have done a lot to renovate the stadium and it is now in good shape to host any match.

This is why we have allowed them to host Gor Mahia on Sunday,”added Oguda. Gor will travel on Thursday to Awendo to honour the fixture.
