President William Ruto has arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to attend the inauguration of President Felix Tshisekedi.
Ruto arrived in Kinshasa on Saturday morning, in the company of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, and other senior government officials.
His predecessor, Uhuru Kenyatta is also in DRC for the swearing-in ceremony. The former Head of State arrived in the capital yesterday.
The two are likely to share a dais for the first time since Ruto assumed office in 2022.
Tshisekedi’s inauguration is taking place at the Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa.
