Tennis star Serena Williams has revealed an amazing new talent in a video released to promote breast cancer awareness.

Naked, with only her hands to cover her modesty, she sings a stripped-down version of the Divinyls 1990 hit I Touch Myself.

The 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion reveals a powerful, expressive voice as she sings a shortened version of the international smash over a sparse synthesiser backing.

Chrissy Amphlett, the band’s lead singer, died from breast cancer in 2013.

The following year a group of singers from Amphlett’s native Australia combined to repurpose the cheeky, erotic number as a reminder for women to check their breasts regularly for lumps and bumps.

The I Touch Myself Project is supported by bra manufacturer Berlei, who have revived the idea this year with Serena to renew and broaden exposure for the campaign.
