Kaka broke down in tears as he played out his final home match for Orlando City.

The former Ballon d'Or winner just missed the goal from a free kick but the home side could not give the Brazil star a dream farewell against Columbus Crew.

The 35-year-old midfielder announced Wednesday that he would not return to the club in 2018.

Kaka has been with Orlando City since the team's first MLS season in 2015 and scored the team's first ever goal, reports Sun

Orlando wraps up the season next Sunday at Philadelphia, but Kaka is not expected to play.

Kaka brought the crowd to its feet in the 38th minute with a free kick from the left side outside the box that barely cleared the crossbar.

Orlando are currently on 39 points and 12 points off the New York Red Bulls, who are assured of their status in the playoffs.
