This New Year’s Eve there have many plots. Ranging from traditional kesha's to Beach parties. As usual the Coast will be more populated than usual and more so this year because of among other plans the Kilifi New year Festival.

The three day explosion of music, arts and tropical Coast culture set in the magical Kenyan coastal town of Kilifi will see Incredible performers from around Africa and the world  come together to put on what the organisers.say is a unique, Technicolor show  which will serve as the celebration of the intersection between Africa and the World.

Kilifi’s powdery white sandy beaches, turquoise reef, emerald creek, and pristine old grown forests have attracted a fast growing community of ethically minded people from artists to eco-builders, ethical fashion designers to dreamers, poets and travellers – all in a peaceful partnership with a lovely local community. And it is this theme that serves as th inspiration for the show. The location is the Distant relatives Hotel which is an eco-lodge.

Every New Year, this beautiful location is transformed into a venue for the most pristine, wild and intimate New Year party in the region. This party that features, Kelissa, Nazizi, Ea wave among other sensations was started wiith a vision to  contribute to global peace by bringing beautiful people and cultures together.

Other events happening in the Coast this December include the NRG wave and Hakuna Matata festival which also have a promising line up.
