Harambee stars beat Libya 3-0 in an international friendly in Tunis on Wednesday, a victory that could see the Stars FIFA ranking improve.
Kenyan Captain Dennis Oliech scored twice; the first goal came just five minutes into the match through a penalty after Libya defenders brought down Humphrey Mieno in the box and the second a fantastic finish from Francis Kahata’s cross in the 13th minute.
In the second half, Libya was determined to pull a comeback with constant attacks however the Kenyan defenders stood firm and denied Libya a goal.
Paul Were, an AFC leopard forward who came in the second half, sealed Kenya’s win in the 80th minute.
