One savvy mum has revealed how she made her money go further last Christmas.
Hannah Stocker went viral after sharing her method for a fun game to keep children busy and happy on Christmas Day for any parents needing inspiration.
The mum's post on Facebook has been shared thousands of times after she wrote a post ahead of the big day.
In it, she advised blowing up balloons and adding cash to some of them - which the children can then hunt for.
The mum came up with the method while trying to stretch her cash further for her sons Leo and Charlie.
The duo loved the game so much that they've asked their mum if she can do it again this year.
Now Hannah has shared her wisdom to help any parents who are struggling this year.
She advised: "If anyone out there is struggling for money this year, I just wanted to share this with you...
"Last year I felt guilty that I couldn't provide that huge pile of presents for my boys that I wanted to.
"So I decided to cover the floor with balloons to hide the lack of presents, which worked a treat.
"Some of the balloons had the boys' names on them and when they found their balloons they popped them and inside were coins and a surprise note.
"I also brought them a money box that counted the money as they put it in. They each had Sh7,300 (£50) in total.
"You know what my kids have asked for this year? You guessed it, balloons with money in. It doesn't have to break the bank!"
Her suggestion has gone viral since being shared on Facebook - with many parents thanking her for the suggestion.
