3 eggs
150g dark chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 glass water or milk (as you wish)
Handful of mixed nuts crushed
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Prepare and line a 12-inch rectangular baking tray with parchment paper.
In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and chocolate together until well combined. Sift the dry ingredients- flour, cocoa and baking powder and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar using an electric hand mixer until fluffy. Add the vanilla extract, then the chocolate and butter mixture, followed by the dry ingredients. Combine well, then add 1/2 glass of water or milk.
Pour the cake mixture into the prepared tray and sprinkle the crushed nuts evenly over the top. Bake at 180C for about an hour or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Let the brownies cool, then cut them into squares and serve with your favourite ice cream and fudge sauce.
