Moi's Prophesy is being realised

But on the evidence of this week’s defining political alliances, the honour for the most accurate prophesy goes to retired President Moi, who said almost 15 years ago that Kanu will rule for the next 100 years!

Last week, the current frenzy of campaigns and alliance building deals might get in the way of crucial parliamentary business. And indeed, Parliament this week lived up to the prediction when sessions were characterised by quorum hitches. As few as 13 MPs were on hand to pass crucial laws. Given the history and the nature of our politics, that prediction was hardly original.
